Crispy lager beer that is sophisticated yet simple.  This classic style is fermented cold with a german lager yeast and brewed with a ton of hops from the Hallertau region of Germany.  This beer is the epitome of “brewer’s beer.”  Though it is definitely a beer for all, no one loves Pilsner more than brewers.  It is beer-flavored beer that doesn’t allow for any flaws or inconsistency.  The beer has to be right or it will tell you.  It is the first lager beer we brewed at Munkle and quickly has become our number one selling beer.  

This beer is a great pairing with almost all foods.  The balance between grain and hops dance across the tongue in a way that cleans the palate and makes it thirst quenching for another sip.  The opportunities are endless: smoked foods, fatty foods, hard cheese, spicy foods, etc 

Malts: Pilsner, Carafoam, Acidulated / Hops: Hallertau Mittelfruh, Tettnanger, Helios / Yeast: House Lager Strain / Water: Charleston’s finest filtered
