MARSBOK

We had the opportunity to taste a new malt variety from Gambrinus Malting Company called Mars Malt, and it was delicious. It inspired us to make a new beer. Meet Marsbok! This big German style lager is rich and malty. It showcases the red color the malt was named for and gives tons of aroma and flavor of fresh baked bread. Slight sweetness is balance by a old and seldom used German hop variety called Brewer’s Gold. Lastly we boiled the beer longer than most of our beers to concentrate the flavors and give a medium body to the beer. A beer that is perfect for cooler weather. Prost!
